Super-Anon

Director:
Stephen Plitt, Burnaby, BC, Canada
Running time - 10:00 minutes
Genre - Comedy
Synopsis:
There's a group of people overlooked by the media, who have an amazing story to tell. Downtrodden and ignored, they wrestle with living in the shadow of a greater sibling, fear of losing a loved one, keeping a deep secret, and general angst. These are the members of Super-Anon, the support group for family relatives of superheroes. And this is their story. Beginning with intimate interviews and actual footage of a Super-Anon session, we follow the group as it goes through several kinds of therapy, and finally finds hope in community.
