The Magnificent Donut

Synopsis:
The Magnificent Donut follows a loner, Milt, as he is swept into a coffee shop and meeta the caustic donut man, Cranky Al. Milt discovers that he enjos being a regular customer, a plain cake donut every Sunday morning man. He can be in an active place while remaining a cautious observer.

After a year of Sundays, Milt is offended when Cranky Al has his order ready for him as he enters the door, Milt attempts to eat a fancy donut, but finds that it disgusts him. When Cranky Al reveals his true nature, Milt discovers that he likes the simple, quiet life.

While on the surface a donut story, underneath The Magnificent Donut is a story of hubris and redemption through donuts
