Synopsis - Three complete strangers get stuck in an elevator together. As a mysterious and disgusting odor permeates the small, enclosed space, we find that romance isn't the only thing in the air. A humorous look at public decency and unused turn-ons.

More about The Lift

About the filmmakers: Michael McIlraith graduated from DePauw University in 2004, where The Lift was his senior project. Jack Stahlmann lives in Los Angeles, and works as an actor. Brian Goad is an editor at Hatfield Post-Production in Chicago.

This is the fourth project the trio has worked on together. Their other shorts are Javelin and The Perfect Bum. Their first project together was the feature length movie The Fifteen Minute Show. All three were members of the Media Fellows program at DePauw. Goad got kicked out of the program his sophomore year.
