Camille Scioli McNamara— Independent Producer and overall Creative Resources Maven, has worked on numerous films and big budget commercials. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Public Administration, she went to work on a Master’s Degree in Economics and Composite Social Studies at Texas Tech. A creative U-turn led her to the prestigious International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport Maine to study Screen Dynamics, Film Theory and Directing. She is a graduate of the Hollywood Film Institute and is certified in the HFI Master Class on Producing and Financing. She is a founding member of the Film Actors Studio of Charlotte, NC.
As Partner in Antares Entertainment, she was independent producer of the feature The Company You Keep, and the award-winning short film Strike. While in North Carolina, she headed the Film and Television Division of Carolina Talent, Inc. In addition to working there as an agent and casting assistant, she taught audition workshops. Her clients have been in many films and commercials such as, Mel Gibson’s The Patriot, The Divine Secret’s of the YaYa Sisterhood, My Dog Skip, Band of Brothers with Tom Hanks, From the Earth to the Moon, Shallow Hal and commercials for Coca-cola, Cingular, Hardee’s and Sears, to name just a few.
In addition to producing the highly successful regional television show “The Actor’s Slate” she works as Unit Production Manager, Production Coordinator, 2nd AD for films and has acted in several commercials such as Coca-Cola, Thomasville Furniture, The Weather Channel, CPCC, short films and plays. She also served as Location Scout for features such as Shallow Hal (with Gwynneth Paltrow), The Patriot, and commercials too.
Prior to moving back to Texas, Camille was the Production Rep for Fizz City Films of Atlanta, GA representing nine Commercial Directors to the country. She currently works as an Independent Producer and has three features currently in development.
She is a member of the Independent Feature Project (IFP), Austin Film Society, Reel Women, and the Lubbock Film Society
